What documents do i need to travel?

For domestic passengers:

  • ​For flights within the country, it's only necessary to carry the identity document (DNI)
  • An adult passenger in case of loss or theft, according to the regulations of the DGAC, can pass security controls at the airport with an expired DNI, driver's license, passport or RENIEC Registration Form (C4)
  • A minor passenger in case of loss or theft, ​according to the regulations of the DGAC, can pass their security controls at the airport with an expired DNI, passport or the RENIEC Registration Form (C4).

Wait for your daughter at the international or domestic arrivals area. She will leave the aircraft accompanied by an airline staff member, who will ask to see your ID before handing her over to you.

I am a transit passenger. Can I leave the airport to visit the city?

Yes. However, if you choose to exit the airport, you will need to pass migration control and customs, thereby losing your transit passenger status. On returning to the airport to take your connecting flight, you will need to pay the Unified Tariff for Airport Use (TUUA) (US$ 30.43 for international flights). You are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before departure of your international flight.
