As of December 18th, 2024, the entrance and exit to the new Jorge Chávez International Airport will be exclusively through Morales Duárez Avenue, leaving behind the access through Faucett Avenue.

Connection with public transportation
LAP and the Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) are working on a plan to connect the new airport with the city by public transport buses. Between 5 and 6 new routes are planned. They will include connections with the corridors, the Metropolitano, and Lines 1 and 2 of the Lima and Callao Metro.
These routes will cover the areas of Callao, South Lima and North Lima.
LAP will sign an agreement with the ATU and the selected operators to guarantee the service of these new routes.
